Cosmo-to-Barber Crossover Program

Hello Fellow Cosmetologists – 

Have you ever wanted to become a licensed barber? If so, I have great news!  Paul Mitchell The School in Costa Mesa has been approved to offer licensed cosmetologists a 400-hour barber program. Our Cosmetology-to-Barber crossover program begins on Monday, September 12, 2011. The class schedule will be Monday through Thursday, 5–10 pm, and will take 20 weeks to complete. 

Full-service men's barbershops and male-focused salons are popping up everywhere, meeting the growing demand for a comfortable, male-oriented space where men can get a great haircut or color, cover the gray, and experience the time-honored tradition of a relaxing, rejuvenating shave.

Our barbering program features hair cutting; coloring; men’s shaving and grooming; basic skin care; and hairpiece design, fitting, and maintenance in a three-phase program we call Core, Adaptive, and Creative.
